First Bike

We were just browsing in the bike shop and Josie didn't want to get off the bike. How could we say NO to this sweet face!! HA! The bike may be a little bit big for her now, but she will be very comfortable on it by the time she's ready.

It was a hot day today...we played in the hose and Dad gave little J a popsicle.

Swimming at the bay

We were invited to go swimming with our neighbor and we had such a fun time. Josie does not like to walk on sand. She is a little bit better now, at least she will walk on it with shoes on. Just a couple of days ago, she would cry if I put her down in the sand. She has a bunch of fun in the water though. We floated around in her blow up star fish.

Tutu baby

These pics are from my Portland trip back in July. Braiden is Josie's cousin. These two kiddos are so cute together. Josie tried to keep up with braiden - she was all over the place. FUN TIME!

Hot Summer Fun

Today was a great day. Josie and I had a fun time playing at the playground. It was so hot though. When we got home, I had Josie wash her hands and while she was playing around in the sink, she dumped an entire cup of water on her head. She laughed, I laughed, and I encouraged her to do it again. After a couple of times, I decided we needed to stop, but I didn't want the fun to end. I took her outside to the hose and dumped a few bowls of water over her head.
Ohhh yah...the pigtails are just the cutest. She finally kept them in.

Later on in the evening, Josie's friend Amelia came over to play. These girls are so cute together. Amelia's mom, Kate, brought over asparagus and broccoli and the girls decided to feed each other. Amelia is one month younger than Josie. Josie will be 20 months on Sept 7th.

Josie's starting to sing - this was the 2nd song in a row...couldn't stop her to grab the camera on the first long one. Perhaps she'll tell us what she was saying before long.

And Josie with her harmonica and bugle. Needs a key of C - the E just doesn't fit right.

The weekend

You may not know this but Josie's new adult teeth have come in. She is looking more like a Gerber baby than ever! Maybe we can make her a star and eventually move out of our high rise deeeluxe trailer.
